Remembering the Future ... Lighting the Way

By God's grace, many have "remembered" the future. They have remembered to think of future generations — helping to provide for the students and families that we serve in our network of Vincentian schools, for those here today and those who have yet to be born.

Believing that generations to come deserve to hear and learn about God's love in Jesus Christ, just as they have in their lifetimes, they named The Daughters of Charity Education Ministry, or one of our sponsored schools, as a beneficiary of some of the resources God entrusted to them. Through their wills and other means, these generous individuals will benefit the work of the Gospel for decades.

The St. Elizabeth Seton Legacy Society honors all those who have been called by virtue of charity, to remember the poor we serve in our school communities in their estate plans. It invites others to follow their examples. By becoming a member, you will join many who look to break the cycle of poverty through education, just as you do.

Membership Details

You can become eligible for Legacy Society membership by remembering The Daughters of Charity, Province of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton, Education Ministry, or one of our sponsored schools, in any number of ways:

  • By creating a codicil naming us in your will or estate plan.
  • By Donating a life insurance policy.
  • By naming us a beneficiary of a life insurance policy, IRA, Keogh, 401(k) or 403(b).

It is our prayer that others will remember the joyous task of keeping the light of Christ bright for the poor we serve, for generations to come. As a Legacy Society member, you will become a dedicated partner in the work of The Daughters of Charity Education Ministry. You will share fellowship with other members at special events and your name will be placed in The Book of Prayer and Remembrance (unless you opt out), which is displayed in the Chapel at the Seton Provincialate in Los Altos Hills, California, so that our sisters may continue praying for you.
